The First International Handicraft Fair of Niteroi (FIAN - Feira Internacional de Artesanato de Niterói) will be the biggest fair ever made in town. Its producer, BT Events, is planning a mega structure to welcome more than 100 exhibitors that will come from over 35 countries, such as: USA, JAPAN, PAKISTAN, LEBANON, INDIA, VIETNAM, AUSTRIA, DUBAI, GUATEMALA, INDONESIA, COLOMBIA, ISRAEL, PALESTINE, MEXICO, BOLIVIA, IRAN, SPAIN, ARGENTINA, URUGUAY, CHILE, KENYA, UGANDA, EGYPT, RUSSIA, TUNISIA, THAILAND, SYRIA, MOROCCO, GHANA, GREECE, CHINA, PORTUGAL and BRAZIL. Each country will offer the widest variety of handicraft items, clothes, music, food, folklore and more. During 10 days you will have the chance to approach and get to know the different cultures that will be present at the fair.

Although Niteroi is not the capital of Rio de Janeiro, is considered its cultural center, and with our Communication Plan we are going to be able to guarantee, for the exhibitors, even better results than they can expect, and of course it will provide more entertainment, leisure and culture for the community.

The event in 2010 will have two editions: 27/april to 01 May and 12 to 16 October 14 to 22:00 at Salesian in Santa Rosa - Niterói - Rio de Janeiro.

Entrance is free to everyone but with call of 1 kg of non-perishable food for donations.
We speculate that the event will indirectly employee at least 350 persons only in Niteroi, and, of course, will increase the direct consumption in restaurants, hotels, and sights.
